A Civil Gliding Class “B” Proficiency Button-Hole Badge Archive a very scarce decorationIn silvered bronze and blue and white enamels; measuring 22 mm in diameter; contact marks but otherwise extremely fine condition. Footnote: The International Aeronautical Federation awarded a series of proficiency badges to glider pilots on their successful completion of the appropriate tests and gliding trials. The B class certificate was awarded for a 60 second solo flight with an S turn maneuver.
