Constructed of gilded silver, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by Luftwaffe style German national eagles clutching mobile swastikas, overlaying crossed swords set through the centrepiece, with a central double ringed mobile swastika, the reverse with an elongated block hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a rounded catch, stamped with a silver content number of 800,
