Tunisia, French Protectorate. An Order Of Glory, I Class Star, C.1875 Auction There is a button down(Order of Nichan Iftikhar). Instituted 1835. III Version 1857 1957. Type II. A large silver badge consisting of a ten armed star, with clusters of 3 rays in each quadrant, an unusual obverse centre presenting an unknown and unofficial Royal cypher in silver on a convex green enameled background, reverse with dual stays and principle pin assembly, privately engraved with "Tunis d. 18 March 1877", hallmarked on reverse pin and reverse 12 o'clock arm
