It is painted on cardstock, first roughly sketched in pencil and then coloured in watercolour, with multiple hues of browns and reds. The sketch is extremely well executed, depicting an SA Mann in full Brownshirt parade uniform, holding a national banner. Attention is drawn by the artist to the SA Manns head and banner through vivid details,
