Original ribbon, edge nicks, very light contact, near extremely fine. In its paper packet of issue, marked "BRITISH WAR MEDAL Issued to The Mercantile Marine" with accompanying explanation on the front panel, exhibiting tears, with part of the left end of the front panel missing.
