Constructed of gilded tombak, the obverse consisting of an elongated Kriegsmarine eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse retaining all three original lugs, unmarked, measuring 110 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), both the lugs and overall structure of the eagle demonstrating bending consistent with field wear and uniform removal, in near extremely fine condition.
