They are dated to between February 1941 and June 1944. They include mail from the following soldiers: Obergefreiter (Corporal) Christian Kstle, writing to his parents from the Eastern Front, Feldpost number 27377, Pionier Battalion 5. Leutnant Jakob Heff, writing to a female friend, Anneliese Hauck, from the
